Randy Repellent.

So Pattie has this ball that she sits on while she is working on the computer.   She claims that it is comfortable and that it is better for her back.  I don’t buy it!   I think that it sits there so that I won’t sit there and use her computer.   And it works. Every time I sit on that thing I fall off, or hit my knee or foot or something as I try to not roll around.  So for now I stay away.

Victory.

Joe Osteen’s  sermon this morning was “The Voice of Victory”   To stay away from poisonous thoughts and to listen closely for correct thoughts.  To “tune” into and listen for right thoughts.  Best days are in front of me.  I will work extra hard on listening for right thoughts while ignoring the poisonous thoughts that have in the past held me back.

I know it sounds a little sappy and is out of step for me but I like what he has to say and believe that it is time to change my way of thinking to a more positive place!!

This wasn’t too different from the Opra show last week (yes I watched one Opra show).  It was about the law of attraction.  The idea of living with gratitude so you attract more good things.  The guest had affirmations like “The universe is conspiring for me” ,  “Everything is working out for the best” .

Today’s gratitude:  It was great to go on a bike ride with Pattie and Alex.  Melinda stayed and played with a friend but she had fun to.

The secret party.

Robert had a secret b-day party for my cousin  Sally.  Though they deny that it was secret my mother (Sally’s aunt) didn’t know about it. And we all know that mom know’s everything.  I think I found out by accident.

I had to tell my mom being the loyal son and all.  So boy is Sally in trouble now.

Sally claimed she knew nothing about it.   Here she  tells my children not to speak of this party.

Of course, Rob didn’t make much of a cake and had no ice-cream.  He probably thought it would be easier to keep it a secret with out ice cream.   He also said we would have no candles on the cake because it would burn down the house. Boy is he in trouble  (even if it is true).

Camping pic’s

They’re Back

The kids, mom, camping gear,  and the interruptions all appeared around 2:00 this after noon.  Great stories and pics.  I will pick out a few pic’s to put up tomorrow.  Panayota wasted no time getting showered and actually got the kiddos showered as well.  Melinda has a few band-aids on her to keep her from scratching the mosquito bites.  Alex tells me he has a pulled muscle.  Though this did not stop him from running through the sprinklers. They got in some fishing but did not catch anything.

It was nice to get to tuck them in tonight.
